Sunpentown Portable Room Air Conditioners come as standalone air conditioners or combination air conditioner/heaters.

All portable AC units require exhaust hose installation. This is for removal of hot air which has been used to cool off the compressor. Standard installation includes venting through a sliding window or by cutting a hole through the wall. Sunpentown AC units are supplied with the necessary accessories for either installation: flexible hose (extends up to 5'), window kit and wall adapter

Important: Before purchasing please make sure the widow venting kit will fit the window in the room you wish to use the air conditioner. Venting hoses are typically 5.0 feet in length.

Sunpentown portable room air conditioner models have cooling power from 7,500 to 14,000 btu. Please make sure you are purchasing a unit that has enough cooling power for room you wish to cool. The air conditioner selection guide below has suggested power ratings for room sizes. We suggest more cooling capacity than that suggested by the manufacturer, especially for hot and humid climates. Your air conditioner must work harder in hot and humid climates.
